
It’s True. Sandra Bullock is at Her Fittest at Age 54

Sandra Bullock, when questioned about her secret to fitness, shared her wellness and health tips and tricks, just for our benefit. Bullock works out regularly, making fitness a priority with Pilates, kickboxing and weight training, but there are days when she takes some time off to relax. She puts in 60 minutes a day, 6 times a week being extremely driven and motivated.
Bullock has been using the ‘Body by Simone’ method for a full-body workout for many years, involving Pilates yoga, and dance cardio, which is very effective to tone the entire body. She makes use of resistance bands as they tone muscles without requiring a lot of equipment. Her most favored move is band curlers with 20 reps, as they sculpt lean shoulders and arms.
Bullock often wears strapless and off-the-shoulder gowns on the red carpet, flaunting her amazing shoulders. The One-Arm Superman Press is to thank for this, as it targets shoulder muscles along with your chest and upper back for a defined lean and long look. Start in a regular plank position with arms under your shoulders, keeping your core tight and yourself straight. Lift your left leg and right arm so they stay parallel to the floor. Hold this pose for at least 3 seconds and return to plank. After this, lower your chest to the ground to do a quick push-up. Repeat with the other leg and arm. Work two sets with 10 reps each, making sure to rest one minute in-between sets, 5 times a week.
Bullock’s diet is very healthy – always fresh food only and in small portions. She does order pre-packaged meals made by a food delivery service. And of course there’s a cheat day once every week. For motivation throughout the week, she notes down whatever she is going to eat during that one cheat day. An added bonus? This cheat day helps you lose weight as splurging actually speeds your metabolism while stocking glycogen for the next workout.
