Halle Berry says She’s Willing to Do Another ‘James Bond’ Movie

After somewhat of a hiatus from Hollywood, Halle Berry and has a new movie this year called John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. She’s doing the usual actors’ rounds, guesting on talks shows to promote her new film opposite actor Keanu Reeves.  She has been most recently seen on the red carpet during the movie’s premiere in New York City, and reporters could not help but ask the actress whether she would be willing to do another James Bond movie in the future.

Back in 2002, Halle Berry became the perfect ‘Bond Girl’, when she starred as Giacinta ‘Jinx’ Johnson in Pierce Brosnan-starrer Bond film, Die Another Day. It was a role that many critics praised, because the actress played her role to a T, which was also why an ITV news poll for the toughest woman on film of all time, placed her in the fourth position.

Berry is back doing action scenes in the new John Wick film as Sofia, where she can be seen shooting guns and kicking some villain behind. The actress underwent intense weapons training for the role, just so she could match Reeves’ skills, who does most of his own film stunts, not just in John Wick.  The gun trainers reportedly complimented Berry’s ‘double taps’, while Reeves was in awe of Berry’s work, as well as her work ethics.

If given the chance to be a Bond girl again in her 50s, Berry is all for it, although she jokingly said not at the moment because her hands were full and she’s enjoying being Sofia from John Wick. The actress described filming the third installment of the Reeves-led film as one of the best experiences of her life.  John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum is the first film that Reeves and Berry star in together, but the actress revealed one piece of trivia that many people would not know – she would have worked with him in 1994 had she not turned down the role that Sandra Bullock eventually played in Speed, the film that helped Reeves’ and Bullock’s career take off.
